Shallow geological structures building by joint waveform inversion based on curvelet decomposition

Abstract Shallow geological imaging structures often play an essential role in the field of environmental and engineering geophysics. Early arrival waveform inversion (EWI) is high-resolution method to near-surface structures. We proposed a joint envelope based on curvelet transform (CJWEI) build shallow By taking advantage their complementary sensitivities structure, we can constrain both low- high-wavenumber components structures, as well mitigating cycle-skipping problem. Curvelet was used decompose seismic data into different scales provide multi-scale strategy further reduce non-uniqueness inversion. With synthetic test, demonstrate that our anomalies hidden layers structure more efficiently robust terms noise.
